Since beginning as ABSS, Laura has been an amazing asset to the Bloomsburg clinic. She is always the first person to volunteer to help her fellow co-workers whenever necessary. We have had the wonderful opportunity to watch Laura grow as she completes her journey in the MAC Scholar program including implementing assessment, analyzing goals, and creating behavior support plans. Laura will be an amazing BCBA and we are lucky to have her! #employeespotlight✨ #TeamMemberTuesday #comegrowwithus🌱

MAC Clinic Coordinators Michelle Knelly and Gina Wormuth (pictured) and Regional Clinical Director Kylee Formento recently attended the 13th Annual Women 2 Women Conference at Santander Performing Arts Center in Reading, PA. W2W is Greater Reading Chamber Alliance's catalyst for developing women leaders and connecting women from diverse backgrounds to learn, share ideas, and mentor each other. “This was my first year attending the W2W and I left feeling rejuvenated”, said Michelle. “It was a wonderful experience to be surrounded by so many fierce females who have overcome many obstacles to get where they are now. It was a truly inspiring to meet so many wonderful female leaders.” Three inspiring and educational workshops were presented by local female speakers during the annual conference: Know Your Worth: Exploring Pay Equity, Reinventing Your “Meeting Personality” - Be the Leader at the Table and Conflict in the Workplace - Leading with Emotional Intelligence. “This was my first year attending the conference as well,” said Kylee, “and I was so glad to learn that a group like Women 2 Women is so active in our local business community! The conference was a great opportunity to hear from other local female leaders about their journeys and current work in empowering other women to find their own unique leadership styles and abilities. My favorite talk was on using emotional intelligence to navigate conflict. Conflict in the workplace is so often viewed as a negative but inevitable occurrence, but this workshop really helped to reframe conflict as an opportunity for learning and growth, and the speaker discussed ways that each of us can work to find our own ways to successfully navigate conflict without bringing our own emotions and biases to the situation. I am very excited to learn more in this area, to continue to develop my own unique conflict resolution style, and to support my team in working through this process for themselves!” The Conference hosted over 300 attendees who were able to enjoy the workshops as well as 30 vendor booths which could be visited throughout the the day. “This was my 2nd year attending the W2W Conference”, said Gina. “It is such an amazing experience. I was able to take away great tips and resources to pass along to my team. It was great to be able to connect with people from different businesses from all walks of life.”

Maddy is one of those people that just genuinely makes life better. She is compassionate, gentle, persistent, and patient. And not just with her clients. Maddy is truly the epitome of what it means to exemplify MAC values - genuine, child-focused, and impactful. She is able to give and receive feedback respectfully and clearly, she implements feedback immediately, and she is a team player, demonstrating flexibility and resilience, no mater what the schedule is. Her ability to help others without coming across as over-bearing is beautiful to watch and her excitement for client progress is contagious. MAC Mechanicsburg is SO lucky to have Maddy! #employeespotlight✨ #teeammembertuesday

Recently Frederick held a one week long event of MAC Madness to build employee team work and a positive culture across the clinic. Activities were focused on a lot of things that we do with our clients throughout the day, like musical chairs, diaper changes, puzzles, and more. It was great seeing employees working together within their team. This will become a yearly tradition at the Frederick clinic! If this looks like fun to you head to https://lnkd.in/erpUdiPM where you can apply for openings in Frederick as well as our other locations throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland! #teambuilding #companyculturecounts #teamwork #MACtivities #careers

"I've been spending a great deal of time in our York clinic for trainings and creating videos to revamp our new hire training program for new BHT staff members. Walking into the York clinic is transformative. Every staff member is incredibly welcoming with a friendly smile and warm hello. They have created such a positive and friendly environment for everyone. They are welcoming of their new staff members, and truly work as a team. When the project of re-creating the BHT training videos was proposed to them, they jumped at the opportunity to get involved and support the MAC organization. Watching them demonstrate skills with high fidelity was amazing. It is evident how passionate they are about working with our kids and put so much energy and effort into their practice. Thank you, York team - I appreciate all of your support & creativity! Your dedication to this project is going to have such a tremendous impact on all future MAC employees!"
