Had been getting my supplies from here for some time, but on recent order, "on location" pickup was no longer available. Since I live two miles away, and shipping for a few cases of poly bags would be 60 bucks, I guess it's back to Associated Bag. Hope they go back to local pickup.

Got an interview and the person who was supposed to interview me never showed up. It's 2022 and this kind of stuff baffles me. Communicate beforehand if you cannot make it to an interview don't make me waste my time.

uline and xpo logistics refuse to pay for property damages that they caused. they will drag on trying to act like they are willing to help. very unprofessional. xpo logistics hires additional contractors (carolyn leary tj's transport) to do their shipping.
do not recommend. bad service. they will protect their own which means they will use the same truck drivers who will damage people's properties. also, they are willing to allow their contractors to trespass on properties to take the pictures of the damages when you have already sent the videos and pictures for proof. when they ask you get to an estimate, they say it's too expensive.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Aug 27, 2021Previous reviewThis incident happened on Wednesday July 7.
This truck driver decided to not backup from the driveway. He decided to take a turn on the front lawn, damaged the tree and lawn, AND almost ran over my father when my father tried to stop him. Also could of damage the structure of the house due to the wide turn he was making. He sped down the hill. I'm surprised the truck didn't tumble down the hill at that speed. If he doesn't know how to back the truck down the hill, he should not become a truck driver, and lose his license. Other truck drivers who had delivered items that I ordered line have been able to back down the driveway with no issues. The fact Carolyn Leary said the items should be delivered at the mail on the street instead of in front of the house tells how she runs her delivery business.
ULINE told me not to worry when I called to discuss what happened that day, and they said they believe me so they don't need proof, and will have their carrier XPO contact me. Andrew McLean from XPO contacted me to send him the videos and photos for proof. Then he had his contractor Carolyn Leary.
Carolyn is very unprofessional. I had to reach out to her when she did not contact me on the phone like she said she would in the email. Never returns my emails after I sent lawn repair estimate she requested on August 5th, even when I cc'd XPO Andrew McLean on August 16th, and 18th. On Wednesday August 25, she stated she was on the property taking photos and there was no damage. She is refusing to pay the lawn repair estimate and so is her truck driver. The fact she trespassed on private property when the delivery is done is a huge red flag that ULINE, and XPO is completely ignoring. She did not make an appointment to come onto the property. Also, she never took my name and phone number to have someone call me by hanging up the phone on me during mid-conversation. I want her company name.
The fact that I requested from Andrew McLean, Justin Gould, and Melanie Lopez who all worked at XPO to provide the photos that she sent, the name of Carolyn Leary's business that she runs, and the name of the truck driver since yesterday with no response tells me they are protecting themselves, Carolyn Leary, and the truck driver. So it appears to me they are either friends/families and have done this to other customers and have gotten away with this.
Melanie told me she doesn't want to be sue by the truck driver for not paying his wages. Why would XPO deduct the wage? That's highly illegal. The fact she even suggested that just shows me how they are treating their truck drivers and how dumb she thinks the customers are. She's on the truck driver's side that the lawn repair bill by stating it's expensive. I mean what did you expect it would cost to damage someone's private property? She told me she will let me know when the landscaper to come by to do the estimate probably tomorrow Friday August 27th at the earliest despite the fact I already provided proof of videos, photos, and got the lawn repair estimate.
It appears to me ULINE and XPO is continuing to business with Carolyn Leary and the truck driver's by not providing photos that she took by trespassing on the property, does not provide her company name and the truck driver for customers' safety concern, and falsely claim this issue has been solved in July when it didn't. Also, it appears to me ULINE and XPO are passing the lawn repair estimate back and forth by refusing to pay, ignoring the facts someone they worked with is willing to run a customer over and damage property, and trespassing on the property, and lack of communication and lack of concern for the customer's safety. Also, the fact ULINE never follow up with me to see if it's true this issue has been resolved in July according to XPO just tells me they are on their carrier's side.
If this upcoming Monday August 30th, I'm not provided with the name of the business Carolyn Leary, the truck driver's name, the photos Carolyn Leary sent, and the lawn repair estimate bill that XPO hired for me and my father to review what's being done for the lawn repair before starting the work, then I will file a complaint with State General on Tuesday because this has gone long enough and the issue is not being taken seriously by either party. I don't know how many customers have been in my position dealing ULINE (ALLENTOWN, PA), XPO (SHREWSBURY, MA), and XPO's contractor Carolyn Leary, and their truck driver who refuses to do the responsible thing after the proof and lawn repair has been provided. - Peter H.Center Valley, Upper Saucon Township, PA01Mar 16, 2021
So my review is about Uline in interview/job hunt. I have been job searching and received a phone call that they would like to interview me. So I went at my appointed time(January 16). They first gentleman I interviewed with was great he said he liked me and wanted to get his manager/superior. So I waited for a few minutes and another person comes to my table and He interviewed me. Again he says he likes me and wants me to speak with his boss. So I was like ok. So the third person comes out and again a great interview with him. He said he also liked me and was sending me to their Human Resources. I get there and I do hear people getting job offers so I was excited. Another person comes out and strikes up conversation(I assumed kinda like another interview) and then this person after done talking to me comes back with a gift bag and asks me to fill out a reference sheet, authorization for a background check and drug test. Once I handed those forms in he stated expect a call in on Monday or Tuesday once you background check is done with a job offer.(I know my background check is clean) as I leave the build employee's are congratulating me. So Wednesday hits no call so I call them and they state the background check is not done yet. So I wait until Friday and call them back and am told Uline has decided to go in another direction. February rolls around and I get a call from Uline and they ask me if I am still interested in working with them. I said yes and we set up a date and time.(March 4th) I rework my resume and reference sheet and head in with a cleaner resume and references done. I interviewed with 2 more gentlemen and both were like we want you. Sent to me Human Resources AGAIN. They made me do the same thing so I fill out all the information and hand it in. As I am handing it in one of my interviewees came over and said he really consider this guy he would be a great addition to Uline. Now March 15 and I get an email saying unfortunately I have not been selected. Why call me when your just going to tell me that you are not interested.

How this store gets an average of 3 is baffling to me. I love this store with a passion. I don't live in PA so I order online. Everything I've received from them is high quality, made in the USA, prices are decent and shipped fast. I usually receive their products within 2 business days so I'm happy as heck.

I like the products. It's a bit over an hour drive for me, but I was willing to do that to save the high shipping cost of the items I purchased. Then they started CHARGING $25 for ME to drive MY CAR to THEIR site and pick up the items. I did it for a while, always buying as much as I could to make the trip worthwhile. But no more. I've found sites on ebay that have the same items for cheaper and they ship them to ME for FREE! No more 2+ hours in the car to get them. I know this big company isn't going to miss my business, but it's a shame all the little businesses don't go elsewhere so they feel it.

I buy from Uline all the time, I Have a small online company. Their boxes are the best, and their prices can't be beat.. I go down to their place in PA to pick up because I agree the shipping is really expensive. You got to see that place in PA looks like a small city... I do agree that no one is special to them ..doesn't matter how much you buy, but that's OK, it's such a big company I'm sure it's got better customers than me...

Huge selection. Open early and late for pickup. My orders are ready just minutes after they are placed. Prices on consumables are very good, and are reasonable for equipment. You're getting a good value by ordering from a company that several warehouses throughout the continent that can ship the same day.
I disagree that shipping is too much. For them to send me a pallet of stuff is $60. For me to ship a pallet a similar distance would cost me around $100. I got a huge roll of bubble wrap sent via UPS for under ten bucks.
Everything they have seems to be way cheaper than Grainger.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Joshua L.Reading, PA0182Apr 3, 2013
