The Chamber's Foundation Main Street program will provide $44,030 in grants that will go toward 15 communities from Alburtis to Weatherly. Grants of up to $2,000 will cover such things as an American flag and holiday banners in Alburtis, or events such as Easton's Garlic Fest. Lorie Reinert, the Chamber Foundation executive director, said the program's aim is to beautify communities' main streets or nearby neighborhoods with such projects as facade and sidewalk improvements.
