Carbon Young Professionals Council holding logo contest The Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Young Professionals Council has a challenge for all local designers (professionals and amateurs) — create its logo. The council is in need of a logo that matches the diversity, adventure and culture of young professionals in Carbon County. Professional and amateur graphic designers of all ages and from across the county are invited to submit logo designs by emailing alicew@carboncountychamber.org by Sept. 18 for consideration. All submissions will be judged by an internal panel of judges and be approved by the board of directors. The winning design will be used as the official logo and will be printed on future materials from the CCEDC Young Professionals Council. The winning designer will be recognized in a press release and at the official unveiling of the logo. The winner will also receive a prize package that includes one year of business or individual level chamber membership ($200 value). A full list of rules is available on the chamber website. Logos must incorporate the CCEDC green and blue. Artists may create multiple designs for consideration, but must submit each design separately. Click here to view the full article
