Some Lehigh Valley business leaders are remaining optimistic that the area will be able to rebound after the closure of the Kraft Heinz plant in Upper Macungie Township. The company announced it would close seven plants in the U.S. and Canada as part of a downsizing that will shed 2,600 jobs. The closures will occur over the next 12 to 24 months. The company has confirmed 400 employees work at the Upper Macungie facility. Read more here.
