MILFORD — The Pike County Chamber of Commerce has announced its partnership with the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber. “We believe that Pike County will benefit from the experience and expertise of partnering with a best-practice chamber," said Pike Chamber President Derek Bellinger. "Our members and future members will have access to greater resources and expertise. We are excited to work with the great team at the Greater Lehigh Chamber.” In 2018, the Pike County Chamber of Commerce committed to identifying partnerships that would provide value to its members, the business community, and future members. Through the partnership with Great Lehigh Valley, the Pike Chamber continues to operate as a separate entity: it has a separate local board of directors, a separate budget, and makes local decisions. However, through the partnership, the chamber call on additional resources from one of the largest chambers in the country. We can now bring these resources to Pike County to assist our members and our community." Marlyn Kissner, executive vice president of the Greater Lehigh Chamber of Commerce, said, “We are very excited to support the Pike Chamber as we serve and help the businesses and communities in Pike County.” The Pike Chamber says there may be additional opportunities for our local businesses looking to expand or find new connections. For more information call the chamber at 570-296-8700. For the original article click here: http://http//www.pikecountycourier.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20180702/NEWS01/180709987
