The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce welcomed Steel Club, LLC, to the Hellertown community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday. Steel Club, a family-oriented golf and country club, was acquired by a team of investors led by David Spirk, who is the president and CEO of Bethlehem Township construction firm, Spirk brothers. The team plans to contributed $2.5 million in renovations and upgrades, according to a release from the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. The first phase is wrapping up with the completely renovated restaurant, The Beam Yard. Construction is now beginning on the alley, which will feature Bistro Street- an indoor streetscape with food kiosks and cafe-style seating. To read the article, click here.
