It’s Lynn Collins Cunningham Day in Bethlehem. Mayor Robert Donchez on Thursday declared it in a proclamation to honor Cunningham, who is stepping down next month from her long-time post as an senior vice president at the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. “Long a cheerleader for the city, Lynn will be sorely missed,” Donchez said. Cunningham runs the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, which is behind many of the holiday activities and marketing in the Christmas City. A volunteer on several local boards and committees, Cunningham previously chaired the steering committee for Bethlehem’s 275th Anniversary. She was honored by the mayor during his annual” State of the City” speech Thursday before 250 people at the ArtsQuest Center in Bethlehem.The mayor presented her with the proclamation and a gift of a Moravian star. ”I love this city. I love this Chamber, and I love working with all of you,” Cunningham told the crowd. “It’s been a pleasure over the last 14 years.
