Monday is the 365th day of 2012 — New Year's Eve. A night to gather with friends and strangers to celebrate the passing of a year and the coming of another with a kiss, dance, horn, champagne and in some cases an "I do." From the Lehigh Valley to Philadelphia to New York, restaurateurs, hoteliers and tourism officials are hoping people venture outside their homes to treat this year's Dec. 31 as if it is part of one big weekend party as opposed to the dreaded first day of the work week.
