In a position that one official called atypical for chamber organizations, the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce is coming out in support of wider use of tolling to help rebuild Pennsylvania’s transportation infrastructure. Michelle Griffin Young, executive vice president of government and external affairs for the local chamber, and fellow chamber representatives also told a panel of state lawmakers that the chamber supports inflation-based increases in fuel taxes and vehicle registration fees as funding sources for vital transportation projects. The Democratic Policy Committee panel, convened by state Rep. Mike Sturla of Lancaster, heard the testimony of Young and others at the America on Wheels Museum in Allentown. State Rep.
