Six Salvation Army locations in the Lehigh Valley are consolidating management in an effort to save money and streamline services, according to the organization's Lehigh Valley coordinator. For the past year, three offices in Allentown and three in Bethlehem, Pen Argyl and Easton have been gathering under the same managerial umbrella, said Major Roger Duperree, the Salvation Army's Lehigh Valley coordinator. Previously, each location acted alone and as a separate entity when it created fundraisers and provided emergency shelter to local people in need. Now, the Lehigh Valley Salvation Army will operate as a singular unit. All of the offices will continue offering the same services, but the Salvation Army Hospitality House at 344 N.
