The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce endorsed so-called right-to-work legislation this week. That's not a surprising stand for most chambers, which are seen as the voice of business. Right-to-work laws have long been favored by business leaders wanting to limit union influence. They make it more difficult for unions to organize, and slash union budgets because they allow individual workers to opt out of paying dues in workplaces with union representation.
