Nazareth’s new downtown coordinator hopes to bring foot traffic and fill storefronts in the borough's downtown. Stephanie Varone, of Stroudsburg, a former New Hope boutique owner who previously worked in sales for Estee Lauder and Bare Escentuals, was hired by the Nazareth Economic Development Commission in September. The commission was formed in March 2011 by borough Councilwoman Cynthia Werner to help revitalize the downtown.
