At Sunday’s 17th A Lehigh Valley Christmas concert at Miller Symphony Hall in Allentown, The James Supra Band was like waking up on Christmas morning. And Cunningham and Associates was like the present under the tree. Those two bands were the highlights of a three-hour, 35-song show by 15 acts plus an intermission – Supra rousing the presentation after a sleepy start in the show’s first half, and Cunningham turning it into a celebration in the second half. Supra’s band in recent years has come to be the expected centerpiece of the annual show, presented by the Allentown and Greater Lehigh Valley chambers of commerce. And this year was no different.
