One Flyers game back in the early 1980s spurred a change in Tony Iannelli's thinking and a passion that would last for several decades. Iannelli is best known as the president of the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and the host of the popular "Business Matters" show on WFMZ-Channel 69, but it turns out that one of our community leaders had a warm spot for the ice. "Before I went to that Flyers game, I didn't think hockey players were good athletes and I was used to football and all of the traditional sports I played in high school," Iannelli, a 1970 Allen grad, said. "But I saw a game and I thought this was great. I went out and bought a pair of skates at Witwer-Jones [an Allentown sporting goods store] and started skating at the old Ice Palace."
