This weekend is going to be hot, hot, hot, but you can't blame it on global warming. Bethlehem will kick off its 19th annual Spring on Fourth! What's on Third? Street Festival and Chili Cook-off at 11 a.m. Saturday. The event is a daylong celebration of all things Bethlehem, says Kara Johnson, vice president of urban opportunities for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. It's "a great day for the community to see the arts and culture on the South Side," she says. ArtsQuest Event Manager Steve Ott says the event is aimed at creating "awareness of what the South Side has to offer — the merchants, the restaurants, the bars, the community as a whole. It's a truly vibrant part of town and we want people to come experience it and give the local businesses and community a chance to showcase what they have to offer." Click here to read the article.
