Happy couples perused floral displays, met with bakers and discussed reception venues at the Lehigh Valley's first-ever LGBT Wedding Expo held at SteelStacks in Bethlehem on Sunday.. The event, organized by the LGBT Business Council of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, brought together 40 vendors for an afternoon geared at same-sex couples looking to tie the knot. The expo is the first of its kind in the region and a new annual effort of the fledgling business council. "It's neat to see so many businesses in the community come out and support this," said Angela DelGrosso of the Chamber. The event had to turn away 15 vendors that could not be accommodated for lack of space. DelGrosso said the expo featured all varieties of wedding vendors — from florist to disc jockey — with some hailing from the gay community and others simply keen business owners interested in serving the new market.
