Singer Tony Orlando, who had one of the biggest hits of all time, a hit 1970s television show and a long-running theater show in Branson, Mo., will perform in a downtown Allentown restaurant. Orlando, whose 1973 song "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree" is among the 75 biggest hits of all time, will perform 5:30-9 p.m. Dec. 1 at Billy's Downtown Diner, 840 Hamilton St., Allentown, the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce said in an email. Orlando will be in the Lehigh Valley to perform his "Great American Christmas" show at Sands Bethlehem Event Center, where he will have an eight-show stand Dec. 1-6.
