The announcement was made at the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting at Sands Event Center in Bethlehem – before an audience of nearly 1,300 – just before Nester presented the chamber’s business of the year award to National Penn Bank. Nester since July has served as LVHN’s acting president and CEO, after president and CEO Ronald Swinfard retired.
