The Lehigh Valley and U.S. economies are on the mend. Wells Fargo global economist Jay H. Bryson told the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce at its annual Economic Outlook meeting Tuesday that the bank forecasts improved economic growth in the next few quarters as the government, private sector and consumers ramp up spending. "We think we are looking at pretty decent growth rates going forward," he said, striking an unusually optimistic tone before a crowd of about 700 at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem.
