WFMZ news anchor Eve Tannery shook her hips and booty into a win Friday night at the first Lehigh Valley Dancing with the Stars, a benefit for the Freddy Awards.. Tannery, wearing a short, sparkly peach dress that swirled through a 90-second salsa dance, held the shiny mirror ball trophy high at the end of the show presented by the State Theatre. Asked before the announcement what she would do if she won, Tannery joked "sleep." The anchor of the sunrise and noon broadcasts earlier had said one of her biggest fears in doing the show was being able to stay awake that late at night. Tannery beat five other local "stars," including runner-up Tony Iannelli, CEO of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, who sported a flashy, silky bright blue shirt for his disco number.
