The Allentown Chamber will recognize business leaders with awards and three high school students with scholarships Wednesday evening during its annual dinner and awards ceremony at Renaissance Allentown Hotel, 12 N. Seventh St.. The following companies or individuals will be recognized with awards, which the Chamber says honor the legacy of late Mayor Joseph S. Daddona: • Lehigh Valley Phantoms/PPL Center will receive the New Commitment Award. The Philadelphia Flyers American Hockey League affiliate began playing in October in Allentown's PPL Center arena. • Trifecta Technologies will receive the Downtown Commitment Award. Trifecta moved last year into the renovated Schoen's Furniture building on Hamilton Street. Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, of which the Allentown Chamber is an affiliate, honored Trifecta earlier this year with the organization's Community Development Award.
