Lehigh Valley Health Network

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) comprises eight hospital campuses in Allentown, Bethlehem, East Stroudsburg, Hazleton and Pottsville, Pa. The hospitals have a total of 1,700 licensed beds with a medical staff of 2,000 - more than 1,100 of them board certified - representing 95 specialties including cardiac, cancer care, trauma, kidney and pancreas transplants, perinatal/neonatal, neurology and complex neurosurgery, mental health, pediatrics, women’s health, and burn treatment at our Regional Burn Center. The network is home to Lehigh Valley Children’s Hospital, the only Children’s Hospital in the Lehigh Valley, providing inpatient and ambulatory care, a Children’s ER and Children’s Surgery Center, subspecialties in more than 25 pediatric specialties, and numerous child-specific services. The LVHN Cancer Institute is a formal member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) Cancer Alliance and is the fourth largest Cancer Center in Pennsylvania, with expertise in cancer research, treatment and prevention. LVHN provides care close to home through its 22 Health Centers, which offer a variety of hospital-based services, primary and specialty practices, lab and imaging services in one convenient location. As a not-for-profit organization, LVHN contributes to the community in the form of free or discounted direct patient care, community-based prevention and education programs, community clinics, professional and patient education and partnerships with local government, school districts and others. Other network services include pharmacy, imaging, home health, lab services through Health Network Labs, and preferred provider services through Valley Preferred. The network is the Lehigh Valley’s largest employer.
