Valley Builders Announces Groundbreaking for South Mountain Memory Care
Lehigh Valley, PA – August 15th
Event Information: South Mountain Memory Care announced today that it is breaking ground on its 18,500 sq. ft. memory care facility. The new building will be located on South 7th St. in Emmaus. The groundbreaking is scheduled for Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 5:45pm, which will be hosted by the Emmaus Main Street Partners, a proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The roots of South Mountain Memory Care run deep in the local community. Founder Bill Wall is the current owner of AP Houser and Valley Builders, two esteemed companies with history dating back to 1912. Bill grew up in the family business working alongside his grandfather Sam Landis, Sr. until illness sidelined the patriarch. Bill took the reins and continued to build on the success of the organization as a legacy to his grandfather. It is these community ties and dedication to his grandfather’s memory that have led Bill to build a community where loved ones could have the peace of mind that their elders will receive proper care.
South Mountain Memory Care will have 24 private suites dedicated to servicing individuals diagnosed with dementia and memory care problems. The community will be divided into two, 12-room neighborhoods, each complete with a family room and quaint dining area and kitchen.
Valley Builders is working with Joe Cimerola of LifeCare Holdings, LLC in the planning and design of the project. LifeCare Holdings is a consulting, management, and development company for the senior living industry. LifeCare Holdings will manage the community upon completion.
