The Saucon Valley Farmers Market will celebrate opening day of their 2022 season with a ribbon cutting ceremony! On Sunday, May 1^st, from 9:30-10:30 AM, join the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce, a proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce as we celebrate this milestone and support local.

Entering their 17^th year, the Saucon Valley Farmers Market is excited to continue offering the freshest seasonal produce and unique specialty products from local businesses. The market will have over 30 vendors providing a range of locally made products, produce, bread, cakes, cookies, flowers, and more. This season we will feature new additions such as vegan options, nut-free baked goods, specialty cheeses and breads, along with a vast array of local, organic fruits and vegetables.

Wine on the River will be held at the Lehighton Outdoor Center with wineries, food trucks, crafters and vendors. Enjoy the day sampling a variety of wines, shopping, listening to music and more. Vark & Bark Doggie Dash

Sponsored by Aardvark Sports Shop, this 1-mile race with pups is designed to bring awareness and raise money for a local nonprofit group. This run will occur on Main Street and through the Colonial Industrial Quarter. Participants will pre-register starting April 14, 2022.

“Pup-Struction” Doghouse Building Competition

Local organizations, teams, and individuals will compete for bragging rights for constructing the best doggie pad! The doghouses will be auctioned off during our first ever silent auction. Proceeds will benefit Northampton County’s Center for Animal Health and Welfare. Registration will open on April 14th, 2022.

Cost to participate:

Professional Category: $50.00

Individual/Ream: $25.00

Doggie Parade

Join us for the parade! Dress up your furry family members and show them off for each other and our judges. Participants will be judged on fashion/ costume, presentation, behavior, and use of props—extra points for special skills or tricks. Pets must be on a leash or otherwise contained and non-aggressive. Registration will open on April 14th, 2022.

Cost to participate: $10.00

The Barking Lot

This area of Main Street (at the 1750 Smithy – across from Musselman Jewelers) will serve as our Barking Lot. Visit The Center for Animal Health and Welfare and meet some rescues! This area wouldn’t be complete without additional vendors that will supplement the shopping experience on Main and Broad Streets.

Cocktail Trail

Fetch your cocktail samples from 12 participating merchants while you shop and stroll throughout the Historic District. Various water stations will be available for your pups to fill up too.
