Elected to serve communities in Philadelphia and Delaware County in 2015, Joanna McClinton became Pennsylvania’s first woman Speaker of the House in February 2023. A southwest Philadelphia resident and Grace Temple Christian Academy, LaSalle University, and Villanova University School of Law graduate, she was a public defender and chief counsel to Sen. Anthony Williams before being elected. McClinton has earned several distinctions including City and State PA’s 40 Under 40 and Politico Recast’s Power List.

The Emmaus Main Street Partners are excited to partner with Juxtahub for a ground breaking event!

For years a small group of dedicated volunteers have been hard at work laying the groundwork, fundraising and assembling the resources to renovate our physical space into a state-of-the-art destination that includes artist studios, classrooms, a black box theatre, commercial kitchen and innovative maker spaces for both digital platform and hands-on craftspeople.

The time has finally arrived to kick off the construction of the artist studios, the first of many projects to come for this community art hub! All are invited to attend this celebration on June 8th from 11:00 to 12:00PM. The official ceremony will begin at 11:30. Guests will be able to learn more about Juxtahub, have opportunities to tour the space, and enjoy lite bites and beverages at this groundbreaking event.

The Emmaus Main Street Partners are presenting the 19th Annual EMSP Golf Classic on Monday June 17th, 2024, at Green Pond Country Club.

Now in its 19th year, the EMSP Golf Classic is a continuing tradition for the area and a fantastic bonding and networking experience with regional community and business leaders. This event sells out each year and is sure to be some of the most fun you have at a golf tournament this year with over 10 different business vendors on the course providing interactive games, giveaways, drinks and snacks!

The day kicks off with a light breakfast and a shotgun start, hot dogs at the turn and is concluded wtth an awards reception with heavy heavy hors d’oeuvres, prizes and more.

The East Penn Chamber is excited to partner with Reviews Up for their Grand Opening event on Tuesday June 18th from 4:00 to 6:00PM. They are excited to open their doors to their fellow Chamber members. To commemorate the opening of their new offices, a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 5:00PM.

The Downtown Bethlehem Association (DBA) presents one of the most delicious weeks of the year – Historic Bethlehem Summer Restaurant Week!

From June 25th through July 1st, participating Downtown Bethlehem Restaurants will offer prix fixe menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. No passes, tickets, or coupons are required. Instead, diners may simply visit their favorite participating restaurants throughout the week to enjoy the special-priced menus.
