Event Description: BRG Firearms Training Presents the NRA Basic Pistol Course January 28th, 2012 Location for the Classroom Portion Holiday Inn Express – 2201 Cherry Lane, Hellertown, PA Classroom Location – Exit 67 from Interstate 78 – Hellertown / Bethlehem Exit Registration Fee:$200.00 per/person Seating will be limited to 12 Students at the Basic Pistol Course Advance registration required! Course Description: The student will introduced to and learn the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and operating a pistol safely. Classroom Location: Holiday Inn Express & Suites 2201 Cherry Lane, Hellertown (Bethlehem), Pennsylvania Classroom Time: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM Registration & Continental Breakfast 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM NRA Basic Pistol Course Range Locations: Each student’s range portion for the NRA Basic Pistol Course will be scheduled individually at a date and time which is convenient for the student. Registration Fee: $200.00 per/person Additional Details: This course is at least Eight (8) hours long and will include classroom and range time with the student learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol components, parts and operation; ammunition; basic ballistics; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet; take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and course completion certificate.
