Event Description: You and your company can help Stop Diabetes® by joining us at our Corporate Breakfast on April 9th from 7:30-9:30 at Hotel Bethlehem. Recent figures note that diabetes costs over $245 billion a year in lost productivity and healthcare costs. Getting your employees involved in the Association’s Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes is a great way to encourage a healthy, active life-style while raising critical dollars needed to stop this life threatening disease. In our community, there are over 600,000 residents living with diabetes and every 17 seconds another person is diagnosed. Join other top Lehigh Valley business leaders at the Corporate Recruitment Event to learn more about diabetes and how it affects your company’s bottom line. You will also have the opportunity to hear directly from a local volunteer who will discuss how diabetes affects each and every one of us.
