“The best time to dine” in Saucon Valley is the week of July 20th through July 26th. The 3rd annual Saucon Valley Restaurant Week offers special menus at ten local eating establishments. This is an affordable opportunity for people to sample the restaurants for the first time or for returning customers to try something different from the norm. This year brings with it some newcomers to the restaurant week scene! The following eating establishments will offer special/fixed price menus or discounted menu favorites:

New this year, the farmers’ market is celebrating the first day of the event with a “Restaurant Week Launch Day” at the market on July 20th; stop by to see the menu board of event food options. From 9 am to 1 pm on the 20th, the market’s Taza Truck and Irene Greek Delights will be offering Restaurant Week specials to accompany the launch day.
Saucon Valley Restaurant Week is an initiative of the Hellertown Business Revitalization Program (HBRP) – a program of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
The restaurant week theme originated after years of discussing how best to promote the many restaurants in the area and as an after effect, get visitors into the downtown. Following in the success of neighboring Bethlehem’s similar event, restaurant week seemed to be the perfect fit. As the second year unfolds, participation includes roughly 1/3 of all the borough and township restaurants.
Promotion for this event is funded in part by participation contributions from the restaurants as well as by local sponsors including the Morning Call, IESI, Saucon Valley Insurance Services, Coldwell Banker, Christ Lutheran Church, the Saucon Valley Farmers’ Market, and Murray Motors.
