Event Description: Pennsylvania Youth Theater is offering an On-Camera Commercial Acting Workshop to students in grades 6 -12 Has your child ever wanted to be in a commercial? Well, this is their chance to experience what it is like to be a part of a commercial from all sides! In this two day workshop, students will audition and read from actual commercial copy, as well as gain knowledge of the local commercial acting scene (where to go, what to do and what to expect). They will also have the opportunity to produce, cast, act, film, edit and screen their own commercial! By the end of this workshop, students can expect to walk away with a plethora of information, including a list of contacts (agents and acting coaches) and much, much more! Ages: Grades 6-12 Dates/Times: Saturday, October 4th from 9:00AM-5:00PM Sunday, October 5th from 9:00AM-1:00PM Where: PYT Studios at 25 West 3rd Street, Bethlehem, PA, 18015 Rate: $225.00 for non-PYT students for the 12 hour workshop To Register: Call (610) 332-1400 or email office@123pyt.org Instructor: Lynn Noble Lynn Noble is a photographer, independent filmmaker, actress and graduate of DeSales University, where she received her B.A. in Sales and Marketing. Always having a passion for theater, Lynn photographed for Pennsylvania Youth Theater and the DeSales University Dance Department for over ten years. She then jumped into independent filmmaking with a feature film and a number of short films for kids. After years behind the camera, Lynn switched roles and was a guest host on QVC for over five years along with acting in dozens of nationally aired commercials, television shows and films. She now resides locally and is married with two daughters.
