Event Description: You may be wondering what a Polar Plunge is exactly - The Polar Plunge is a creative way to support Habitat Lehigh Valley by plunging into icy cold water. Doing a Polar Plunge may even be on your bucket list, so this is a great way to check it off your list while also supporting affordable housing. Anyone can plunge and fun costumes are highly encouraged! The Polar Plunge is on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 10am - 11am at Dutch Springs located on 4733 Hanoverville Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18020. This is the schedule for the day: • 9:30am - 10am: Registration (no entry after 10am) • 10 - 10:45pm: Costume Contest & Safety Talk • 11am: Time to take the plunge!

Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley
Over the past 6 months just here in the Lehigh Valley,we had over 200 individuals inquire about affordable housing. Unfortunately, many families in our community, usually single mothers with young children, suffer from living in substandard housing - in apartments with mold, rodents, and leaks. All funds raised at the Polar Plunge go right back into serving hardworking, low-income families realize affordable housing.
