Event Description: The Saucon Creek Arts Festival will offer guests a full day of entertainment on June 4th from 10 a.m. through 5 p.m., rain or shine. Over 50 artists and artisans will display their art works tents on the beautiful Heller Homestead Park grounds in Lower Saucon Township. The juried art show will feature fine art paintings, photographs, glass works, pottery, woodworking, jewelry, textile art, mixed media and more! Our indoor art gallery will showcase original works from students of the Saucon Valley School District and the Nazareth Area School District. Continuous live, acoustic music, presented by Godfrey Daniels, will entertain guests of all ages, with a special one hour children's show by Dave Fry starting at 1 pm. Live Music provided by GODFREY DANIELS! 10am Jason Hahn - Fingerstyle Guitarist 11am The Dulcimer Boys - Traditional Music 12 am 99 Stringz - Traditional Music 1pm Dave Fry - A show for kids of all ages! 2pm Ed Saultz - Traditional and Contemporary Irish Music 3pm Mike Holliday - Singer/Songwriter 4pm Piper's Request - Traditional Irish Song and Dance In addition to the artists’ booths, the Saucon Creek Arts Festival hosts a kids’ art activity area and food vendors—all adjacent to the beautiful nature trail along the Saucon Creek. We especially welcome children with autism to participate in making arts and crafts. Entries for a drawing to win an original art work will be available at the hospitality tent. The Heller Homestead Park offers guided tours of two historic buildings, a visit to our Four Square Herb Garden, and a view of the stone barn ruins. The Festival will provide parking at an adjacent public park. Handicapped parking will be onsite. A $3 parking donation is appreciated. Proceeds from the Saucon Creek Arts Festival support the mission of the SVC, which offers educational services to the community, preservation of our historic buildings, and the continued stabilization of the historic barn ruins. Additionally, the SVC plans to create an outdoor community venue which will incorporate the existing barn ruins site. Directions:
From I78, Exit at Hellertown, Route 412 South Continue one mile on Main Street. Turn Left at Water Street. Parking for the festival will be on your right at Water Street Park. Walk across the street to the festival at Heller Homestead Park.
