Event Description: The Saucon Valley Conservancy and Lower Saucon Township invite the community to enjoy a free day filled with art, music, food and family fun during the 3rd Annual Saucon Creek Arts Festival at the Heller Homestead Park. You’ll discover a wide variety of two and three-dimensional art including paintings, fine art photography, ceramics, jewelry and more by artists from several states. The festival will feature more than 50 juried artists, live entertainment, children’s craft activities, guided tours of the historic grounds and more. A juried photography exhibit will be showcased on site in the Michael Heller Gallery. The theme this year is “Our Towns - Cultural and Historical Beauties.” There will also be a middle school photography show on display from the Saucon Valley School District. Our food vendor this year is the Lehigh University Fud Truk. The menu will include festival favorites like house cut french fries, funnel cakes, and burgers made with locally sourced ingredients. The menu will also include healthy choices and vegetarian options. Godfrey Daniels will be returning to provide music to enjoy while taking in the beautiful scenery, learning about the history of the Homestead, or talking with our talented artisan vendors. The musicians include Dave Fry, Jason Hahn, and 99Stringz. The festival is adjacent to the Saucon Creek and popular Rails to Trails path. The festival will run from 10am-5pm, rain or shine. Convenient, no-charge parking is a short walk away at Water Street Park. The Heller Homestead address is: 1890-92 Friedensville Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18015. All proceeds from the Saucon Creek Arts Festival will be used to maintain and improve the historic 2-acre Heller Homestead and offer art shows, house tours and other educational opportunities.
