The past two weeks have been incredible! Here’s just a sampling of the new items that shipped from Target’s Circle Week deals, thanks to YOU! 🎉 Your kindness in response to our needs has been heart-warming and also really encouraging for us. 🥰 We’ve continued to see many new foster placements, which for a time were concerning us that we wouldn’t be able to effectively serve them. We should know better by now! As we continue to celebrate our team for National Volunteer Week, we have to give a special shoutout to the wonderful women who served a family fostering a large sibling group who came into care needing alllllll the things. Last week, the team from BDA Architects, LLC in Bethlehem joined us for a productive day of service and volunteerism. 👏🏼👏🏼 They beautified The Kindness Exchange property by laying fresh gravel in the parking lot and weeding and mulching the flower beds around our boutique. They also assembled a new deck box for us to enclose our refuse receptacles.🗑️ This was a true team effort, and we have no doubt there may have been some sore muscles the next day! But their commitment to serving TKP and their excitement about our mission was such a joy to witness. 💙💛 We have found some new friends and supporters thanks to the annual “Volunteer Challenege” hosted by the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley. It has been another insanely busy weekend at The Exchange with multiple new foster placements along with lots of repeat visitors for spring wardrobe updates. We were pleasantly surprised to receive an email from Jessica Wimbish MS, DC Chiropractic sharing that she had a monetary donation of $500 to drop off!
