It's #GivingTuesday! At The Baum School of Art, we believe in the power of art to inspire, educate, and bring communities together. In 2022-2023 we served over 3,200 students in art, design, and fashion. Of those students 1,236 were served through our community outreach or financial assistance programs. Our programs are open to anyone who wishes to study art—we celebrate diversity and welcome all community members, regardless of gender, social status, race, or beliefs. For over 97 years, our mission has been guided by the vision of our founder, Walter Emerson Baum. He believed that art is essential to our lives, that anyone can make art, and that everyone should have the opportunity learn. We continue to honor that vision through scholarships, financial assistance, and community outreach programs to make sure that art is accessible to all. This #GivingTuesday, let's come together to nurture the artistic spirit within our community. Your support is not just an investment in art; it's an investment in the boundless potential of every individual to create, inspire, and make our world more beautiful. By supporting The Baum School of Art, you contribute to the creation of a space where individuals of all ages come together to learn, grow, and celebrate the joy of human expression. Your generosity ripples through our community, leaving a lasting legacy of creativity and collaboration. Donate today and be a catalyst for creativity!   Make a donation online or by calling us at 610-433-0032   https://lnkd.in/gRsU7hWM   Thank you for supporting The Baum School of Art this #GivingTuesday

We would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped to make our Fall Gala honoring Dr. Martha “Missy” Hutson-Saxton a success!   Thank you to our patrons, donors, Board of Trustees, committee members, and attendees for a wonderful night celebrating Missy and supporting The Baum School of Art! Special thank you to our honoree, Missy Saxton, for being such a wonderful advocate and supporter of The Baum School of Art. As a part of our Gala’s Silent Auction, we included a Fund-a-Need Reverse Auction! Last year, we served over 3,200 students of all ages in our programs. That is the equivalent of over 61,000 hours of art education! As one can imagine, that takes a lot of art supplies! Below is a fun illustration of just how much we use in supplies in one year! Help us transform these materials into art, self-confidence, and joy by making a tax-deductible Fund-a-Need donation today! Donate Today: https://lnkd.in/eUCv2PyU

Maintenance on our Da Vinci Horse is complete! Special thanks to Charlie and Pamela Dent, and Bob and Sandy Lovett for support on this project, and to Kreilick Conservation for doing such a terrific job! Our 12ft horse is one of several created from Da Vinci's initial drawings. We are proud to be home to the horse that is a memorial to Charles C. Dent, the Baum School Trustee who was the visionary behind bringing Da Vinci's majestic design to life.
