Regenerative Energy Initiative

Regenerative Energy Initiative is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in the Lehigh Valley that advances a regenerative energy future by helping communities, businesses, institutions and energy users overcome financial, educational and regulatory barriers to clean energy adoption. Formerly known as Sustainable Energy Fund, the organization has served Pennsylvania since 1999 through innovative financing, energy education, technical assistance and strategic partnerships.

Regenerative Energy Initiative supports renewable energy and energy efficiency projects through financing programs, energy audits, workforce and professional training and industry-leading initiatives such as Pennsylvania C-PACE. The organization also hosts Energypath, one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s premier sustainable energy conferences, bringing together business leaders, policymakers, educators and energy professionals to advance practical energy solutions.

Headquartered in its award-winning Net Zero office building in Schnecksville, Regenerative Energy Initiative is committed to creating energy systems that renew, revitalize and regenerate environmental, economic and social systems while strengthening Pennsylvania’s communities and economy.
