GPI is a multi-discipline engineering firm that has been providing professional design, planning, and construction inspection services to all levels of government and industry throughout the United States for 50+ years. GPI is currently ranked 70th among the top 500 largest engineering design firms in the United States by Engineering News Record (April 2024). With a staff of over 1,800 professionals, offices throughout the United States, and access to specialized services, GPI is able to provide the required resources to complete each client’s specific assignment. Originally established in 1949, the practice in Scranton has been providing professional engineering services in the architectural field throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region for over 50 years. In 2001, Long Island based Greenman- Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) acquired the practice.
