The Palmerton Area Historical Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and operates under the direction of a Board of Directors that establish objectives for the various committees and staff of dedicated volunteers.

Our mission is to help preserve and maintain the 1803 House, as a museum for the community of Emmaus. We protect the past while ensuring the next generation of American will learn from the lessons of our history.
