Breanna Eckley, LMT, has had a lifelong passion for holistic health methods and a deep love of anatomical structure. As a teen, she spent her time inside the pages of a sketchbook, and often found that her art would reflect drawings she’d seen in medical textbooks, notebooks by Leonardo Da Vinci, and Grey’s Anatomy Guides. While studying abroad in India, exposed her to Eastern ways of thinking yogic philosophy as well as Ayurveda. After receiving a B.A. in technical theater and design, she travelled as an art auctioneer on various cruise ships in Hawaii and the Caribbean. The stress on both her body and spirit from car accidents, heavy lifting, and hard work, took their toll, and she sought relief through holistic methods, such as meditation, physical therapy, herbal recipes, and yoga. Inspired by the spiritual attitudes she found in India and Hawaii, Bre found herself leaning towards the fields of naturopathy, chiropractic, and general holistic health care. After years of self-maintenance, researching healing methods, and taking sporadic college courses, she decided to join a massage therapy program to head on a path towards naturopathic education. Little did she know it would ignite a strong desire to heal through soft tissue bodywork. During her clinical education, Bre took the extra step of working with Benedetto Chiropractic Health Center, a comprehensive health clinic that focused on more than just spinal health. She has also worked in various spas and chiropractic clinics in the Pocono and Lehigh Valley region, and was Administrative Assistant at Mountain Massage Inc., at Split Rock Resort for over a year. Her education, experience, and passion eventually motivated her to launch her own massage clinic, at which she now accepts patients. About Breanna’s Technique Bre has a passion for relaxation and pain management. Her style utilizes muscle lengthening techniques, trigger point therapy, thai yoga, deep pressure, cross fiber friction, hot and cold stones, and myofascial release. She sees each massage session as a challenge, for her to work with the goal of the client and to provide the absolute best body work. Some of her extensive training includes therapy for knee replacements, sciatica or piriformis syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff injuries, golfer's elbow, herniated disc issues, neuropathy, and especially fibromyalgia.
