The B’nai B’rith Apartments consists of two apartment buildings located at 16th and Liberty Streets in Allentown, PA. There are a total of 270 apartments housing approximately 300 low income tenants all of who are either over the age of 62 or over the age of 18 and have a mobility impairment that requires the special features of a wheelchair accessible apartment. The apartments are subsidized by the U.S. Department of Housing and tenants pay 30% of their income for rent. The B’nai B’rith Apartments are operated by a non-profit corporation and are open to persons of all faiths and beliefs and are available to all eligible applicants without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, age, familial status or disability.
